About Eri
Eri Kardos is the founder and lead coach of Relearn Love, LLC, a passionate social dance event organizer, and a dance connection teacher. She is a featured teacher for “Consent, Boundaries, and Big Emotions on the Dance Floor” at the Sydney Kizomba Afro Festival in Australia, the Neokiz Festival in Austin, TX, USA and Connections Festival in Bali, Indonesia.
She has been a dancer for over 37 years and has studied a variety of styles. She is currently deeply in love with kizomba and flirting with Brazilian zouk.
Eri began teaching dance choreography in a touring dance troupe when she was 14 years old. She has studied dance, as well as taught classes on communication and connection on 6 continents. She is one of the main event organizers of Just Kizz Me – a luxury kizomba party born in Bali, Indonesia. She helps teach and organize with Connections Bali and hosted the Bali Kizomba Community Practicas for two years.
Eri’s specialty is helping dancers experience deeper, more fun and fulfilling connections on the dance floor. She creates space for the community to say what is not being said and to overcome challenges that can feel awkward to admit (but that almost all of us have experienced and can relate to).
Eri creates a safe and engaging space to help dancers share about the big emotions that can arise through dance. Using her decade+ of coaching tools and tailoring them for dancers, she helps the community learn how to create and set healthy boundaries, navigate rejection, gain consent, co-create meaningful connection, understand trauma, and increase presence on the dance floor.
